The lobby of the restaurant complex was like a mystical cave filled with fish and fancy decorations. Bartolomeo is a unique resort with a park, museum, and beach oasis. The outdoor pool area was luxurious and perfect for relaxation.

The service was so slow, I thought I would have time to grow old and die before getting my order.

A bonus was that the curtains were thick enough to block out the early morning sun. Reception staff were helpful and friendly.

The resort can be noisy, so it is important to check ahead and ask about events being hosted during your stay. We were surprised by the extra bureaucracy needed to go in and out of the hotel during party nights.

The white sand beach and pool were perfect for relaxation.
